RCGS and RGAP have been a haven for bright, motivated students since our inception. The passion of our faculty members is to offer accelerated programs, preschool, Kindergarten through to Elementary,-Grade 1-6 curriculum; to provide motivated students with a nationally recognized, well-rounded educational experience in a supportive, inclusive environment that encourages academic excellence, ethical growth, community involvement, and responsible leadership. Through a strong academic curriculum, the school challenges students to develop diligence, independence, self-discipline, responsibility, and inquisitiveness. The educational culture encourages students to pursue independent thought and research in a balanced environment. Starting from our lower division (RGAP) our students continue to demonstrate the value of acquiring knowledge, developing strong study habits, and mastering academic skills - through to our Kindergarten and elementary where our students blossom to be academic high achievers. Seventy-five percent of our faculty hold an advanced degrees - Masters and higher in edu., and another 25% obtained their BA in edu- all our teachers are trained, licensed and qualified.

PUPIL / FACULTY RATIO
A low pupil-faculty ratio and small class sizes mean our teachers really know and understand their students. Our pupil-faculty ratio is approximately 6:1 and at a maxium 15.1. There is one homeroom teacher per class.

We select our teachers for their ability to relate to students in a warm and supportive manner but more so for their ability in helping our students to excel and achieve academically. Our classrooms provide an enhanced learning environment and small group setting which allows teachers the opportunity to observe, acknowledge, and guide the children's level of academic progress. Children are encouraged to move at their own pace as they move from one level to the next, however, no one knows students' academic potential quite like their class teachers and of course, our teachers know that their students have the ability to excel therefore, RGAP and RCGS' teachers will encourage students to excel... and yes, they can achieve!. Teachers work with students to form relationships and also motivate them to achieve a high level of academic success. Teachers will do what is best to help their students achieve and to become outstanding academically attained students. Our strong commitment to an exemplary education, challenges each child to new levels of discovery and encourages each student to develop skills needed for life-long learning. We instill in our students confidence that nothing is impossible -- yes they can do whatever they set their minds to achieve - yes, that's the right direction and yes, we help steer them in that direction.
