School Uniform Policy
Elementary - Middle School
All
students are required to observe the school dress code. Kindergarten through to
Elementary, Grade 8 - students are required to be in the designated school uniforms
Monday - Friday. We believe that school uniforms promote a sense of pride in our
school and solidarity between students. Rosedale Christian School requires students
to wear uniforms Monday to Friday. The school is a member of the Cookies Uniform
Club and students uniforms can be purchased from Cookies to ensure that the uniform
colors and pattern are adhere to. We do not recommend that
parents purchase the school uniform other than through Cookies Uniform Club (store).
Parents are requested to pick up from the school the uniform chart and discount
card prior to purchasing students' uniforms.
School Decorum
Students
are requested to demonstrate proper conduct on school premises and also off school
site while wearing the school uniforms. The school uniforms represent the school
and therefore, we ask that students respect and honor the decorum which upholds
the strong Christian values while wearing the school uniforms. Do not forget that
you represent Rosedale Christian School and the school uniform represent s RCS
also.
Students are not allowed on the school compound unless they are properly
attired in the full school uniform. Infraction will be given to students out of
the correct uniforms. Students who wish to be excused for a day should first bring
in a letter from his or her parents, requesting permission for the day. Parents
may also call the school to be granted excuse for students not in their correct
uniform.
Rosedale
Christian School is proud of its dress code policy, which provides students and
families with clear expectations on what every student uniform should be as outlined
below. We have also provided resources listed below on where these uniforms can
be purchased.
GENERAL POLICIES
We believe that a clean-cut and professional image reduces distractions
and promotes learning. Therefore, school uniforms are expected to fit the student
appropriately, be cleaned on a regular basis, and cannot deviate from the style
and color choices. Students are expected to present themselves in a neat, clean,
and professional manner at all times whenever the school uniforms are worn.
