Parents with with new borns and also parents who require our services but are not quite ready, usually have their children placed on our Waiting List. If you would like to add your child to our waiting list, then please contact us immediately. Our spaces usually go very quickly.

Welcome to our school site and thank you for your interest in Rosedale Gifted Academy Elementary & Preschool. Our two locations, Merrick Blvd. and 242nd Street are in close proximity to each other, and more than easy access to public or private transportation . We are located in Rosedale Queens -- a clean, wholesome, safe, well-respected and friendly neighborhood, and just across from the Cross Island Plaza. We offer a stimulating, fun, playful, and learning environment where your child will positively thrive. We’re all about academic and social development, but in a way that children learn through creative, hands-on activities while having fun. Our School Slogan Says It All -- 'Today, A Student... Tomorrow, We See A Professional ...'! This proves true in all that we do at Rosedale Gifted Academy Elementary & Preschool. For almost 20 years in this field, we have had the privilege of seeing hundred of children developed and became high achievers and well-rounded citizens as they took their places in higher learning institutions nationwide. We are more than confident that our students are rated among the best out there -- they have proven repeatedly that they far exceed the academic standards - far above that of their peers. Principals, teachers and parents alike contact us daily inquiring about our past students. The reason they inquire is clear -- our students academic standards and achievement far exceed those of their peers and they cannot keep them in the same programs as their peer! Our past students are usually moved up two or three classes above their age grade. For this we are proud -- knowing that we produce the best and high achievers make us confident and proud. This motivates us to continue to strive to give and do our best daily. RGAP accepts children regardless of race, religion, creed, color, national origin or sex. We accommodate students ages two year - Grade 6 -- (Pre-K through to Elementary, Grade 6). Our doors are open from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. We also offer extended hours service upon a majority demand. Our annual Summer Camp is one of the best out there and our students look forward to this most since it offers such fun and summer challenges that they have come to love!
